There's no place like home for Holmes, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  a  15-5 margin over the Pasquotank County Panthers on Wednesday. Considering the Aces have won seven contests by more than nine  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 The team  relied heavily on  Ainsley Parrish, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gabrielle Provencher, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
With the  victory, Holmes broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-6. As for Pasquotank County,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-7.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Holmes will  square off against  rival Camden County  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Meanwhile, Pasquotank County is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Currituck County  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
