Baseball Recap: Cary Christian Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Cary Christian won the last time they faced GRACE Christian and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Knights were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Eagles. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Jacob Reeves was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Zachary Lindstrom, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Cary Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for GRACE Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cary Christian will challenge Ravenscroft at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ravens have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for GRACE Christian, they will square off against New Life Camp at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Storm will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
