The Mount Pleasant Green Knights entered their tilt with the Overbrook Panthers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Davis scored a full 40% of Overbrook's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Omar Warring, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.
Mount Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Overbrook, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Pleasant will face off against DuPont at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. DuPont comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Overbrook, they will head out on the road to face off against John Bartram at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. John Bartram is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
