Hamilton Heights has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Westfield Shamrocks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton Heights will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 207th, while Westfield is ranked fourth).
After soaring to a 22-point win in their last game, Hamilton Heights came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell just short of Winchester Community by a score of 54-52.
Meanwhile, even though Harrison scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, Westfield still came out on top. Westfield enjoyed a cozy 73-55 win over Harrison.
Will Harvey had an outrageously good game as he scored 18 points along with six rebounds. It was the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Buchanan, who scored 15 points.
Hamilton Heights' loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Westfield, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2.
Hamilton Heights might still be hurting after the 64-42 defeat they got from Westfield in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Hamilton Heights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
