The Sully Buttes Chargers were the 52-0 winner over the Kadoka Kougars when they last played one another back in October of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Sully Buttes took a 38-22 bruising from Kadoka on Thursday. Sully Buttes has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Gus Stout continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kadoka, rushing for 166 yards and three touchdowns.
Sully Buttes has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Kadoka, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-5.
Sully Buttes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kadoka will head out on the road to face off against Faulkton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Faulkton is on a four-game streak of home wins, Kadoka a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
