The Tehachapi Warriors's four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They walked away with a 59-47 victory over Arvin. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Tehachapi also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Tehachapi's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anthony Cerbantez, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds. Cerbantez has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Jackson, who scored six points along with 21 rebounds and five steals.
Tehachapi's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-15. As for Arvin, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tehachapi the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome South at 6:30 p.m. on January 25th. Arvin will take on Del Oro at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Del Oro is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
