Holy Spirit Prep was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Andrew Wingate did his best to prevent it. Wingate was unstoppable, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.
