If the Fort Worth Country Day Falcons were feeling good off their 52-13 takedown of the Oakridge Owls last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Fort Worth Country Day took a 23-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity Valley. Fort Worth Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Trinity Valley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Fort Worth Country Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Trinity Valley will head out on the road to face off against Houston Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Houston Christian is on a three-game streak of home wins, Trinity Valley a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
