Basketball Recap: Westlake Skates Past Crowley with Ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Westlake had no problem doing just that on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Crowley Gent 69-41. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Westlake's fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games. As for Crowley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-19.

Looking ahead, Westlake will challenge Loreauville on Tuesday. Crowley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
