Mt. Pleasant barely beat Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Oilers blew past the Wolves 12-5 on Monday. The Oilers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The win (which was Mt. Pleasant's third in a row) raised their record to 15-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Central, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Mt. Pleasant will square off against Dow at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will challenge Lapeer East at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
