Northwest suffered their biggest defeat since December 7, 2023 on Thursday. They were outmatched by Whitehorse at home and fell 72-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Northwest has suffered against Whitehorse since January 12, 2016.
Meanwhile, Coronado's seven-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They came out on top against Native American Community Academy by a score of 61-50. Coronado's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Coronado, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.
Northwest took a serious blow against Coronado in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 53-9. Can Northwest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
