The Kathleen Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Bartow 59-14 at home. The victory was nothing new for Kathleen as they're now sitting on five straight.
Dariasia Pitts continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. The contest was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kayden Gause, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Kathleen pushed their record up to 13-5 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.9 points per game. As for Bartow, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kathleen will square off against George Jenkins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. George Jenkins will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 274th, while Kathleen is ranked 93rd). As for Bartow, they will head out on the road to face off against Mulberry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
