The biggest upset of the week belonged to Tillamook, who took down 124th ranked Tillamook, 32-22.
Scappoose extended the longest winning streak in 4A Cowapa this week by beating Yamhill-Carlton, 49-10. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Scappoose's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Taylor Loss threw for 336 and four touchdowns and Paul Revis had 204 yards receiving. On the ground Carson Davison chipped in 97 yards. Justice Oman helped Scappoose's passing attack out by catching one ball for 70 yards.
Scappoose's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Loss has thrown for 1593 yards and 23 touchdowns this season, while Revis has 51 catches for 992 yards. Davison leads the league in rushing with 635 yards.
Sean Mcnabb's team's Revis needs only eight receiving yards against the Cheesemakers to crack 1,000 for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Indians take on Tillamook. Scappoose is currently in first, while Matt Dickson's team is in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Astoria takes on Seaside. The Fishermen have allowed 93 points this season, while the Seagulls have given up 88. Astoria allowed 22 points last week as it topped the Cheesemakers.
The Indians led 4A Cowapa in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Tigers. Loss ran for 36 yards in the win.
