The Palm Harbor University Hurricanes lost against the Keswick Christian Crusaders back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Palm Harbor University took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Keswick Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Palm Harbor University has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Palm Harbor University saw an underclassman step up: Leah Barker scored 11 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jadah Secundino, who scored three points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
It was another big night for Ava Graham, who scored 31 points along with six rebounds and four steals for Keswick Christian. Graham is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Leah Celosse was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Palm Harbor University's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Keswick Christian, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2.
Palm Harbor University will take on Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Northeast will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 532nd, while Palm Harbor University is ranked 212th). As for Keswick Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Berkeley Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
