Red Mesa will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating St. Michael, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Red Mesa claimed a resounding 45-17 victory over St. Michael. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redskins.

Shyla Pipkin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Ashley Jones was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Red Mesa smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, BASIS Flagstaff can bid farewell to their 17-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against Seligman by a score of 52-43. The Yetis' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for BASIS Flagstaff, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-11.
