Meanwhile, Christ Church Episcopal waltzed into Friday's game with eight straight wins but they left with nine. They put the hurt on Blackville-Hilda with a sharp 27-7 victory. Considering Christ Church Episcopal has won nine matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Among those leading the charge was Dashun Reeder, who rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
St. Joseph's Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Christ Church Episcopal, they have yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 11-2 record.
St. Joseph's Catholic ended up a good deal behind Christ Church Episcopal in their previous matchup back in October, losing 35-21. Can St. Joseph's Catholic avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
