The West Clermont Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Middletown Middies at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully West Clermont focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Monday.
Last Monday, West Clermont got the win against Ursuline Academy by a conclusive 41-21. That's two games straight that West Clermont has won by exactly 20 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Clermont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Natalie Collins, who scored seven points along with three steals. Meagyn Riffle was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Middletown fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They enjoyed a cozy 60-43 victory over Edgewood last Saturday. Middletown pushed the score to 47-24 by the end of the third, a deficit Edgewood cut but never quite recovered from.
West Clermont is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Middletown, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
