The Clear Creek Golddiggers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Denver Academy 91-60 on the road. Considering Clear Creek has won three contests by more than 30 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Collin Hendrickson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 35 points and 20 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Clear Creek's points. Another player making a difference was Tyler O'Brien, who scored 29 points.
Clear Creek has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Denver Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Clear Creek will head out on the road to face off against SkyView Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Denver Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Cripple Creek-Victor at 3:30 p.m.
