Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

St. Mary's Academy lost against Peak to Peak back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Pumas.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 16-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Despite the loss, St. Mary's Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Al Hernandez had 19 digs and three aces. Hernandez is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last ten games she's played dating back to last season.

Leading Peak to Peak to victory were Eliana Foster and Natalia Bejarano. Foster had eight digs and one assist, while Bejarano had eight digs.

St. Mary's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Peak to Peak, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

St. Mary's Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Littleton on the 30th. As for Peak to Peak, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Kent Denver on the 30th.
