Spencer-Van Etten gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Lansing Bobcats. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 12-0 victory the Bobcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.
Deveon Aman was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowing only one earned run over seven innings pitched. Aman was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
