A Season-Best Effort from Conner Marchant Leads Fleming over Peetz

He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 57 yards.

Dallas Glass Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Saturday, Briggsdale got the W thanks in part to Dallas Glass playing the best football he has all season. Glass rushed for 143 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 15 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making 17 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
If history really does repeat itself, Glass might just drop another big game when he faces off against Fleming on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Glass saw the Wildcats), he rushed for 202 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.

While Peetz might've come up empty on Friday, Dylan Wagner wasn't going down without a fight. Fleming had no answer to Wagner as he rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 37 yards and a touchdown. Wagner has become a key player for Peetz: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
For the season, Wagner has thrown 3 touchdowns while averaging 23.6 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 7.71 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 97.29 rushing yards.
