The Robertsdale Golden Bears's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Bayside Academy as Robertsdale made off with a 52-32 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Robertsdale, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Robertsdale got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hannah Johansen out in front who scored 13 points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Shaunte Sanders, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Robertsdale has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Bayside Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Robertsdale will be home for the holidays to greet Franklin County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin County is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Bayside Academy will finish 2023 at home by hosting Pensacola Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th.
