For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Thorp and Cadott have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Cardinals walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Hornets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-7 two weeks ago.

Thorp's record is now 6-4. As for Cadott, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thorp will face off against Regis at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals are facing the Ramblers at the right time seeing as the Ramblers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Cadott, they will take on Fall Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crickets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
