American Christian School scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Faith Christian, posting a 86-51 win on the road. American Christian School has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead American Christian School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Japhet Santiago, who scored 25 points along with five steals. Santiago is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caleb Ritchwood, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
American Christian School's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Faith Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American Christian School's road trip will continue as they head out to face Veritas Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Faith Christian, they will square off against Quakertown Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Quakertown Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
