The Scotland Highlanders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 58-35 walloping at the hands of Freeman. Scotland was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Flyers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Rocky Ammann continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Freeman, scoring 13 points along with three steals and three blocks. Ammann has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. Sawyer Wipf was another key contributor, scoring five points along with three steals.
Scotland dropped their record down to 1-13 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Freeman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Scotland's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Corsica/Stickney is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games. As for Freeman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cubs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
