Rim of the World's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Thornburg, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. Cole Paxton was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with two steals.
Rim of the World's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Fontana, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-7.
Rim of the World will head out on the road to square off against Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eisenhower is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Fontana, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Notre Dame knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Fontana likes a good challenge.
