The Babylon Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell 43-31 to Holy Trinity.
It was another big night for Maya Logie, who scored 32 points along with five rebounds and five steals for Holy Trinity. The match was Logie's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiera Kozlowski, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Babylon's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Holy Trinity, their victory bumped their record up to 1-5.
Babylon will be playing in front of their home fans against Smithtown Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Holy Trinity will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against St. John's Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. John's Prep presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Holy Trinity in New York (St. John's Prep is ranked 164th, while Holy Trinity is ranked 385th).
