Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Victory Baptist). They really took it to the Peoples Baptist Academy Knights for the full four quarters, racking up a 97-60 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warrior also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Victory Baptist was led to victory by Dontaye Bell and Brayden Jameson. Bell went 14 for 19 on his way to 31 points and eight rebounds, while Jameson dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 boards. Bell is becoming a predictor of Victory Baptist's success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is 5-2 (and 2-5 when he doesn't). Jacari Everett was another key player, putting up 12 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.

Victory Baptist pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.7 points per game. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory Baptist will venture away from home to face off against Old Suwanee Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Victory Baptist knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Old Suwanee Christian likes a good challenge. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, they will head out to challenge Grace Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Peoples Baptist Academy is facing Grace Christian at the right time seeing as Grace Christian is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
