It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Ware ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Ludlow Lions 2-1. Those two runs were actually the fewest the Indians have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Ware saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Kaczuwka, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

The victory (which was Ware's third in a row) raised their record to 15-1. As for Ludlow, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Coincidentally, Ware and Ludlow will both be playing Amherst-Pelham Regional the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Indians will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
