Despite the loss, Chino still got an impressive performance from Shawn Jamison Jr, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Jamison Jr is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 18 every time he's taken the court this season. Manuel Alba was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Ontario's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. As for Chino, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ontario will take on the Conquistadores at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in California (Don Lugo is ranked 576th, while the Jaguars are ranked 571st). As for Chino, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Braves at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st. Baldwin Park has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 21.
