Aztec's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Kirtland Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season.
Aztec was dealt a bruising 55-14 defeat at the hands of Kirtland Central when the teams last played back in January. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Aztec was down 41-8.
