After only one run in their last matchup, Johnsonville made sure to put some runs up on the board against Carvers Bay on Thursday. Johnsonville was the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over Carvers Bay. The result was nothing new for the Flashes, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Larkin Powell, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Eaddy, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Johnsonville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Carvers Bay is on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johnsonville will take on Green Sea Floyds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Green Sea Floyds has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.43 runs per game on average), something Johnsonville will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Carvers Bay, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Hemingway at 7:30 p.m.
