The Academe of the Oaks Firebirds will head out on the road to take on the Providence Classical Christian Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Thursday, Academe of the Oaks took a serious blow against the Panthers, falling 74-21.
Meanwhile, Providence Classical Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Friday after their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by Covington Academy on the road and fell 87-49.
Academe of the Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Providence Classical Christian, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Academe of the Oaks was able to grind out a solid victory over the Warriors in their previous meeting back in January, winning 50-37. Does Academe of the Oaks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
