Westport extended their postseason success on Tuesday against John J. Duggan Academy. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past John J. Duggan Academy 72-69. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Westport's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for John J. Duggan Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.

Coming up, Westport will face off against Rockport at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Westport knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Rockport likes a good challenge. John J. Duggan Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
