Anne Hope Howell posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
