Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaleb Steiger, who scored 15 points along with two blocks. Ryan Adema was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five steals.
Edgewood found their leader in underclassman Brayden Wasdin, who scored 18 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Corbin Snyder, who scored three points along with five assists and three steals.
Calvary Chapel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Edgewood, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.
Calvary Chapel Academy will take on Old Plank Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edgewood, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cocoa Beach at 5:30 p.m. on January 17th. Cocoa Beach is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
