St. Thomas More is 8-2 against Dominican since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will look to defend their home court  against the Knights  at 6:30  p.m. Both teams are coming into the  contest red-hot, with St. Thomas More sitting on  three straight  wins and Dominican on six.
On Thursday, St. Thomas More made easy work of St. Catherine's  and carried off  a  3-0 victory.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18,  25-5.
 Brenna Gutowski and  Kaylee Kovacovich were among the main playmakers for St. Thomas More as the former  had six  aces and four  assists and the latter  had six  aces. Those  six  aces gave  Gutowski a new career-high.
 They weren't the only good servers: St. Thomas More  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 18  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least six  aces in 12 consecutive  matchups.
Meanwhile, Dominican got the win against St. Joseph  on Thursday by a conclusive  3-0.
 Dominican walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20,  25-20.
 St. Thomas More better keep an eye on  Sydney Knautz. She was instrumental in Dominican's win,  getting 13  digs.
 St. Thomas More's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Dominican, their win bumped their record up to 19-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Tuesday's  match:  St. Thomas More has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 9.2  aces per game. However, it's not like Dominican struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 9.1  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 St. Thomas More was able to grind out a solid  victory over Dominican in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024, winning  3-1. Do  the Cavaliers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
