 Heartland Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Will Morgan, who  scored 24 points along with five  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Collin Kalaher, who  scored ten points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Badger has  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost four of their last five matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 16-7 record  this season. As for Heartland Christian, their win  ended a three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 15-9.
