In other batting news, Palm Beach Lakes got a massive performance out of Gabriel Hall, who scored three runs and stole Four bases. while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Anderson Demeus, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Lincoln Park Academy can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They never let Glades Central get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Greyhounds not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25, 2024.
Patrick Johnson was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2. Chase Cardin also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Lincoln Park Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .471. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
The win made it two in a row for Palm Beach Lakes and bumps their season record up to 4-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 15 runs. As for Lincoln Park Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.
