Central faced off against South Mountain for the first time this season, and Central walked away the winners. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past South Mountain 2-1.

Sierra Linda suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. Their rough 3-0 defeat to McClintock might stick with them for a while. Sierra Linda has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Central is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Sierra Linda, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1.
Central skirted past Sierra Linda 4-3 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
