Brunswick will take on Mt. Blue at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
After a big victory against Messalonskee two weeks ago, Brunswick came back down to earth. Brunswick were completely outmatched, falling 0-42 to Kennebunk. Brunswick were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 44 points the game before, Mt. Blue faltered in their match last Friday. They suffered a grim 6-30 defeat to Brewer last Friday.
Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
