Meanwhile, Carl Albert put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Collinsville, posting a 52-14 win at home. Considering Carl Albert has won ten matchups by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Kevin Sperry, who rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Xavier Robinson, who rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown.
Bishop McGuinness' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Even more impressive is the teams they beat to make that streak: Bishop Kelley, Midwest City, and Piedmont. As for Carl Albert, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0.
