The Red Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers earlier this season, when they won 6-4.
Blake Hillis was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Cole Pippenger was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
