Spanish Springs lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Owen Hensley, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah McBride, who scored eight points along with six assists.
Reno's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noah Hackbusch led the charge by scoring 13 points along with five assists. Levi Boyd was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Spanish Springs bumped their record down to 8-11 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Reno, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.
Spanish Springs will be playing at home against Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carson is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Reno, they will head out on the road to square off against Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Douglas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
