Texline's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rett Wann led the charge by scoring 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Alston, who scored 20 points.
Channing's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Texline, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 24-4.
Channing will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wildorado at 7:30 p.m. Wildorado presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Channing in Texas (Wildorado is ranked 448th, while Channing is ranked 1656th). As for Texline, they will head out on the road to square off against Pringle-Morse at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
