Although it had already lost five times in its home state, Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, Ga.) traveled to the Louisville Invitational over the weekend and pulled off the biggest upset of the volleyball season thus far.
Chattahoochee, which had two losses to nationally ranked Pope (Marietta, Ga.), went undefeated at the Louisville Invitational including a win over Assumption, Kentucky's top-ranked team, in the championship match.
The big win moves Chattahoochee into this week's rankings at No. 16 and drops Assumption from the No. 7 spot down to No. 17.
The only team to drop out of this week's rankings is Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, Okla.), which lost in the championship game of its own tournament to Fayetteville (Ark.).

2. (2) Lake Travis (Austin, Texas), 30-0The Cavaliers won twice last week, blanking Bowie and Marble Falls 3-0. Against Bowie,
Amy Neal had 18 kills and
Katy Beals notched 26 assists. In the Marble Falls victory,
Sierra Patrick topped the team with 10 kills while
Cassie Wang had 13 assists.
3. (3) Berkeley Prep (Tampa, Fla.), 2-0The Buccaneers downed Palm Harbor University 3-1 to give coach Randy Dagostino his 800th career win. He is the winningest active coach in Florida and ranks No. 33 all-time in national history. Daughter
Mackenzie Dagostino finished with 39 assists, 12 kills and 12 digs while
Jordan Burgess added 15 kills, 19 digs and six blocks. Burgess had 12 kills and Dagostino 11 in a win over Winter Springs later in the week.
4. (5) Palo Alto (Calif.), 10-0In their only match of the week, the Vikings got a tough test from No. 24 Presentation (San Jose, Calif.), winning 25-19, 27-25, 21-25, 19-25, 15-11.
Melanie Wade had 21 kills for Palo Alto. The Vikings will compete in the Archbishop Mitty Tournament next weekend.
5. (6) Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, N.C.), 2-0The Crusaders showed they are the team to beat in North Carolina this year after blanking defending Class 4A state champion Apex last week 25-10, 25-16, 25-15.
Carolyn Albright and
Lauren Willoughby combined for 14 kills in the win.
6. (9) Avon (Ind.), 13-0Avon remained undefeated on the season with a 3-0 win over Plainfield and a 3-1 victory over Fishers last week.
Katie Higginbotham and
Beth Prince each had nine kills against Plainfield with Prince adding 19 against Fishers.

7. (10) Xavier College Prep (Phoenix), 13-0The Gators waltzed through the Westwood Tournament of Champions, going 6-0 in pool play and then beating Sunnyslope, Hamilton and finally Gilbert (25-17, 25-22) in the Gold Bracket for the title.
8. (11) Chaparral (Parker, Colo.), 7-0The Wolverines shut out Arapahoe 3-0 and Doherty 3-0 last week to stay undefeated at 7-0.
Nicole Dalton had 12 kills against Arapahoe while
Abby Shelton had nine.
9. (12) Carroll (Southlake, Texas), 24-1The Dragons won twice last week including a 3-0 district win over Saginaw. Carroll also topped Highland Park 3-0 to remain the top-ranked 5A team in Texas.
10. (13) St. Ursula Academy (Toledo, Ohio), 7-0St. Ursula Academy won twice last week, including a 3-2 win over Toledo Central Catholic in Three Rivers Athletic Conference competition. Also defeated Perry (Massillon, Ohio) 3-0.
11. (14) St. James Academy (Lenexa, Kan.), 9-0The Thunder knocked off defending Kansas Class 5A state champion Bishop Miege for the championship of the Mo-Kan Challenge over the weekend.
12. (4) Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, Kan.), 8-1The Stags got through pool play unscathed but fell to St. James Academy (Lenexa, Kan.) in the championship match at the Mo-Kan Challenge in Lee's Summit. St. James Academy also defeated Bishop Miege at last year's challenge.
13. (15) Los Alamitos (Calif.), 5-0The Griffins won their first four matches in the Gahr Tournament, beating Canyon (Anaheim), Torrance, Mayfield (Pasadena) and South Hills (West Covina) all by identical 3-0 scores.
14. (16) East Lake (Tarpon Springs, Fla.), 4-0The Eagles are off to a 4-0 start with wins over St. Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton), Academy of the Holy Names (Tampa), Lakewood (St. Petersburg) and Palm Harbor University.
15. (17) Pope (Marietta, Ga.), 13-1The Greyhounds won four times last week, including a 2-1 win over Chattahoochee, a team that knocked off Assumption (Louisville, Ky.). Pope has a pair of wins over Chattahoochee this year.
16. (NR) Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, Ga.), 20-5Although the Cougars have lost twice to Pope and to three other teams in Georgia, they managed to top Assumption for first place in the Louisville Invitational last week.
17. (7) Assumption (Louisville, Ky.), 16-1The Rockets bumped off rival Mercy (Louisville) 25-16, 25-15, 17-25, 26-24, last week, but fell short of winning the Louisville Invitational over the weekend, falling to Chattahoochee in the championship match 27-25, 21-25, 25-19.
18. (18) Muncie Burris (Ind.), 14-1The Owls began a new win streak after having their 99-match win streak disrupted by Assumption last week. Muncie Burris shut out Delta 3-0 and edged Wapahani 3-2 to move to 14-1.
Taylor Morey had 27 kills in the win over Wapahani.
19. (19) Aiken (S.C.), 10-0The Fighting Green Hornets went undefeated at the Gamecock Classic Invitational and defeated Lexington 2-1 in the championship game.
20. (20) Dos Pueblos (Goleta, Calif.), 2-0Dos Pueblos opened its regular season with a pair of shutout wins over Oxnard and Valencia last week.

22. (22) Cy-Woods (Cypress, Texas), 25-4The Wildcats blanked Cypress Ranch (Houston) 3-0 and Jersey Village (Houston) 3-0 in district play.

23. (23) Boyd (McKinney, Texas), 23-4The Broncos edged Flower Mound 3-1 and opened district play with a 3-1 win over Rowlett.

Emily Sklar, the Panthers fell to the defending Division I state champion Palo Alto Vikings last week 3-2. Presentation bounced back to win the Deer Valley Tournament over the weekend.
