Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Academy's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

If Highland Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Grace Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Kate Poitevint. Everything went the Grace Christian Academy Cougars' way against the Highland Christian Academy EAGLES on Tuesday as the Grace Christian Academy Cougars made off with a 60-35 victory thanks in part to Poitevint, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 22 rebounds. Those 21 points gave her a new career-high.

Sara Kate Crews was another key player, putting up nine points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Grace Christian Academy's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-14. As for Highland Christian Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grace Christian Academy will face off against Southwest Georgia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highland Christian Academy, they will square off against Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland Christian Academy is facing Westwood at the right time seeing as Westwood is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
