Hardee has gone 9-1 against Mulberry recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wildcats will face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Hardee's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Mulberry's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Hardee is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They blew past Liberty 19-0. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Jeremiah Cabrera made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ryland Beumel, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. He has become a key player for Hardee: the team is 5-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Leo Marrero, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Hardee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Mulberry hadn't done well against Fort Meade recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Panthers skirted past the Miners 3-2. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Miners recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Jayson Blouin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits.
Hardee's record is now 10-13. As for Mulberry, their record now sits at 18-7.
Hardee came out on top in a nail-biter against Mulberry in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 5-4. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
