After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garfield, The Crestview Rebels were happy to have found some success on Friday. They put the hurt on LaBrae with a sharp 28-7 victory. The result was nothing new for Crestview, who have now won three contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Maxwell Hawkins had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikey Proctor, who rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Crestview's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.3 points per game. As for LaBrae, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Crestview will head out on the road to face off against Pymatuning Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Pymatuning Valley's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four games. LaBrae does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
