Fyffe came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Pisgah Eagles with a sharp 8-1 win. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Fyffe's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Pisgah, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Fyffe will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Locust Fork at 11:00 a.m. As for Pisgah, they will head out on the road to challenge Ider at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
